TO “Tee” OR NOT TO “Tee”

At JoviStyle, there are no rules. Fashion is a way of expressing who you really are.

To T, or not to T.  That is the question.

My style has never been traditional, it has always been unique, sometimes edgy, but has always been completely mine.  I love looking at style icons in order to get ideas, shopping at vintage stores, and creating new outfits, style inspirations, and looks.  

One of my all-time favorite staples would be the t-shirt.  Slogan, concert, or basic T-shirts are ubiquitous and can be found in any genre and any color. You can sometimes find mine cut up, making them even more individualized, and one of a kind.

This fabulous Guns’N Roses chainmail t-shirt pictured above is by Alice & Olivia. I searched for over 2 years for this shirt. Once I get a unique piece in my head, it will eventually be mine. There is no limit to the creativity for an outfit that t-shirts provide. I love to wear them with jeans, boots or heels, and maybe a designer belt. I love to wear them with a satin or leather skirt, or even leather pants, and high heels. Of course, they can be downplayed with jeans or leggings.  One of my favorite looks is to pair them with lots of chunky jewelry, rhinestones, etc., to really set off the juxtaposition of styles.

The rule is that there are no rules, it is so fun to create your own signature art that you wear.
